Bosch SelfCut flat bits feature a self-cutting threaded point and two side cutters. Manufactured from Bosch's own specially toughened steel. The tip and cutting edges are precision-ground for dimensionally correct bore holes. They all have a 1/4" hexagonal shank as per DIN 3126-E6.3. for chuck holders. and appropriate toolholders or extensions. This flat wood bit is outstanding with its high cutting speed when compared to standard flat wood bits. Suitable for bore holes in medium-hard and soft woods as well as light building materials such as plasterboard or aeriated blocks.
